Hi, my name is Kendall and I like candlelight dinners and
long walks on the beach.
Just kidding, not really.
I’m not a very outgoing person. I’m what most people would
call shy. In a way, I’m just too lazy to put myself out there and talk to
people, but I guess a bit of it is shyness too.
However, I do actually have a personality and the ability to
talk. I always find it funny when I say something and people state, “You
actually can talk!” Yes. Of course I can. If I couldn’t, I’m pretty sure that
teachers wouldn’t call on me as they would know that I was speech impaired.
Often times, it’s not that I don’t have something to say though. There’s that
mechanism that most of us have (or should have) where we think about what we
say before we speak. I guess I just have an overactive speech-analysis
mechanism. I’ll think about what I have to say, and then decide that it doesn’t
really contribute much to the conversation, and thus decide not to speak up.
But I suppose to do the basic “about me” stuff, I also have
to tell the boring stuff as well.
I’m a high school student, writing this blog for a language
arts class. I have a mother, father, brother, and one dog. I enjoy reading and
music. I play the trombone, but I mostly just like to listen to music. When I
grow up, I want to do something dealing with health sciences.
So that’s the less exciting information. The more exciting
stuff will (hopefully) be able to be seen in my posts, in my opinions, and in
the way I speak. So welcome to one year of what goes through my head.
